Email: Dunganrerun@aol.com
Web pages: www.genealogy.com and www.Familytreemaker.com
Hello! I am Sandy G Wheeler, Dunganrerun@aol.com and I want to post another surname "SMITH"!

My Great-Grandfather, Charles Smith came to America (Iowa then Minnesota) with his brother, John Smith. They were the surname "Erickson" but wanted to work for a railroad company and chose the name "Smith" so they could be hired here in the States. My Grandfather Enoch Smith was born in Sioux City, IA in 1885 but came to live in Minnesota (Chiscago County) there he meet my Grandmother, Marion Martenus, she was born in Chisago County and left with him to Oregon in about 1925. They were married in 1925 (date unknown.)

I have heard that John Smith retired from a railroad company in Minnesota many years later!

If you have any information on my "Smith" family, I would love to find out any little thing!

Do you have any information on Charles Smith, his wife was named Enya Maria Smith? Their children were, Amil, Herman, Enoch, Esther, and Julius (Jules) Smith!

I do have a personal web page with www.genealogy.com and www.Familytreemaker.com

Thank you!

Email: tandtnelson@home.com

I am looking for information on Frank JANA, Katerina (Katie) JANA, and their children Katie, Frank, Anna, and Mary. I have seen the last named spelled in 1880 census as JANU and in the 1885 Chisago census as what could be GUNIA. This family was in Rush City in 1885 along with the wife's sister Anna SOKOLIK (spelled SOPOLIK) in the 1885 Chisago census, and her husband Frank and their three son's Frank, John, and Theodore. The mothers in these two families died in their thirties and I have lost track of the children in the JANA family and the father and eldest son in the SOKOLIK family. I would appreciate any information on any of these individuals.

Looking for Information on WIDMARK/VIDMARK Family who probably settled in Chisago Co. about 1860-80 from Sweden. My Grandfather Roy Widmark or Howard Roy Widmark was born about 1881-82. Parents unknown. He migrated to New York State and married and had 3 children. He disappeared about 1916 after a Divorce and left the children. Perhaps returned to Minnesota to his family. I assume there were other brothers and sisters and I'm looking for a Swedish Church that might have Records on this family so I can determine who my Grandfather's parents were and perhaps find out what happened to him. Would appreciate any information on this Family that might be available. Patricia Regan, 8 Bermuda, Jensen Beach Fl. 34957
